About Us

Fulton Free Will Baptist ChurchWe want to thank you for visiting with us here at Fulton Free Will Baptist Church. We work very hard to accomplish the task to develop programs and ministries to meet the needs of people. It is our desire to see people saved and watch people grow in the Lord. We hope that there is something associated with this site that will help accomplish that goal! If we can help, let us know!

Sincerely,
Brother Scott Nicholson
Pastor

About the Church

The Fulton Free Will Baptist Church was born out of a tent revival in July 1946, under the preaching of Brother M. L. Hollis of Amory, Mississippi. Brother Hollis was the state missionary in that day and used the tent of the Mississippi State Home Missions Board. The meeting was held on the property directly across the street from the present church. The small group of people out of the revival bought one acre of land (the present site) on July 25, 1946 and organized into a church on July 27, later that year. The church continued to meet in the tent until the original church building was built. It was completed in 1947.

Our Approach

About the Pastor

Pastor Scott Nicholson is a native of Pearl, Mississippi where he grew up attending First Free Will Baptist Church. Saved at the age of 8 at the Pearl church, God began to work greatly in his life. He answered the call to preach at the age of 15 while at church camp. Married Susan Butler from Fayette, AL in June of 1998. He and his wife have served the Lord in Greenwood Springs, Mississippi and Muscle Shoals, Alabama before moving to Fulton, MS. We both are very excited about what God has done….but very expectant about what God is going to do through the ministry at Fulton Free Will. It is our prayer and desire that God would use us greatly to do a special work to help people come to know the Lord and grow in their relationship with Him!
